CONTACT-FIX XTREME AXT290 is a premium grade, high temperature resistant, high strength, water resistant, brushable contact adhesive. This adhesive is the flagship of the CONTACT-FIX range and offers the strongest possible bond. Its strength and ability to bond difficult substrates combined with its high temperature resistant properties has earned it an enviable reputation among vehicle trimmers and other adhesive manufacturers. 
 

Applications:
This contact adhesive is suitable for bonding most upholstery materials including: alcantara, carpet, fabric, felt, foams, headlinings, leather, rubber and some vinyls*.  *Check suitability first.

These may be bonded to themselves or to substrates such as: glass, metal, plastic, rubber and wood. It can also been used for bonding rubber door seals and sound deadening materials to door, roof, bonnet and boot panels.High temperature resistance makes it suitable for applications within coach building, including the fitting and refurbishment of vehicles, boats and caravans. Contact Fix AXT290 Xtreme has a higher viscosity than AHT100 which makes it more difficult to apply smooth and flat. This makes it less suitable for use on very thin trimming materials where surface irregularities would become visible.
