Application Guide

• Surface Preparation:

• Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or grease.

• Remove any loose or flaking paint, old sealants, or mastic.

• For highly porous surfaces (e.g., new plaster), prime with Arc PVA Bond (diluted 1:4 with water).

• Can be applied to slightly damp surfaces, but not wet ones.

How to Apply:

1. Prepare the cartridge – Cut the tip and attach the nozzle. Trim at a 45° angle to suit the joint width.

2. Apply the caulk – Using a standard sealant gun, maintain even pressure and a steady angle for a smooth application.

3. Smooth the seal – Use a wetted spatula, gloved finger, or piece of wood within 20 minutes of application.

4. Clean excess caulk – Use a damp sponge or warm water before it dries.

5. Allow to dry – Overpaint once a surface skin has formed (typically 1-2 hours).

⚠ Tip: Avoid overpainting before the caulk has dried, as movement in the paint film could cause cracks.
