Aladdin Blue Flame Heater Wick - For Models 16, 25, 32 & 37

• Use only genuine Aladdin Wicks, as using other wicks may result in poor performance and cause problems for which Aladdin cannot be responible.

To fit the new wick:

• Take out the flame spreader (perforated cap in centre of burner) and remove the burner basket by turning anti clockwise. Turn the wick up until the cog is free and then pull the wick and carrier out of the tank
• Disengage the teeth on either side of the wick by pressing the top of the wick above the teeth and draw the old wick out of the carrier.
• Always handle a new wick carefully so that you do not damage the top edge. Keep carrier and throw old wick away.
• Holding the carrier in one hand with the flanged end at the top and the new wick in the other, insert the tails through the top of the wick carrier until the two teeth on each side of the wick are immediately above the slot on either side of the carrier.
• Gently squeeze the wick and ease it down. 
• Grasp the ends of the tails together at the bottom of the carrier and gently draw the assembly over the centre tube.
• Hold the wick carrier firmly with one hand then carefully pull the top of the wick up so that both sets of teeth engag in the upper slots. Tear the paper tabs from the wick.
• Line up rack on the wick carrier with the winder cog and gently push the assembly down until the rack engages with the winder cog. Then turn the wick down with the winder, ensuring at the same time that the tape on the inside of the wick does not catch on the top of the centre tube.
• Replace burner basket and lock firmly in position by turning clockwise. Replace flame spreader.
• Replace burner in tank. Fill container with paraffin and allow the new wick to soak for at least one hour before lighting
