- A smooth white tinted paste wax, formulated to produce a white grained finish in open grained timbers. Particularly effective on oak and similar timbers. It is most effective when applied directly onto the bare wood giving the deep white colouring, but for an even effect it can be applied onto stained and sealed surfaces. Some woods will benefit from opening the grain with a wire brush. Liming Wax can be overcoated with Clear Briwax for a more durable finish.
- Coverage 4 to 5 square metres per 220g. Quick Drying 30 minutes per coat.
- Surface Preparation Prepare by sanding along the grain with a fine glass paper. Some wood would benefit by opening the grain with a wire brush.
- Application Apply sparingly with a cloth, rubbing well into the grain, removing the excess as you go, so that a uniform colour is obtained. Allow to dry then buff with a soft cloth. For a higher sheen, overcoat with Briwax Liming Wax or Clear Briwax.

ReviewI have nothing but praise for Lenehans for the fast and efficient service they provided. I had the package the next day and was kept up to date with delivery etc, also the packaging was excellent. The product however wasn’t what I expected. Wanted to use it on my oak cabinets to give a distressed look but it ended up looking faded and awful. Will not use it. Thanks -
