Douglas Linseed Oil - Boiled and Raw
Linseed oil, extracted from flax seed, is one of the most useful natural oils. It is used as a preservative for wood, concrete, and an ingredient in paints, varnishes, and stains.
Raw Linseed Oil
Rustins Raw Linseed Oil is ideal for oiling cricket bats, bare wood and for softening putty. Rustins Raw Linseed Oil is also used sparingly for lubricating the pad when french polishing.
Boiled Linseed Oil
Rustin Boiled Linseed Oil is used for finishing most bare timber and is suitable for replacing the natural sheen that wood can lose after long periods drying in the sun. Boiled linseed oil contains special additives which speed the drying process. Will also waterproof ground sheets and tarpaulins.
