WC Toilet Seat Fixings (pair)

• These fixings are intended for securing toilet seat hinges to WC Pans when the seat fixing holes are concealed within the cavity of the pan itself.
• They absolve the need to take out and disconnect the pan in order to fit new seat hinges.
• They may also be used with pans with conventional seat fixing holes (access is exposed).
• They may prove simpler to fit especially when the pan is located close to a wall or features an irregular shape in the area on the underside where the nut is normally tightened up.
• As they are made from a malleable rubber with brass threaded inserts, they will not deteriorate or cause damage to the pan.

Instructions:

• Simply push the rubber fixing into the seat hole of the pan, taking care not to apply too much force which could cause it to fall through.
• The 'flange' at the top of the fixing should rest on the top of the pan.
• Place the toilet seat fixing plate over the flange and pass the threaded bolt through the same and into the rubber fixing until it meets with the brass insert.
• Using a screwdriver, tighten the bolt which will cause the fixing underneath to expand.
• This type of fixing is only suitable for use with toilet seat hinges which feature a plate which a bolt can be passed
