How do I measure cylinder for lagging jacket. Thanks

To measure a cylinder for a lagging jacket, follow these steps: Height Measurement: Measure the height of the cylinder from the base to the top. If there are any fittings or protrusions, measure to the top of those. Circumference Measurement: Use a flexible measuring tape to measure around the widest part of the cylinder. You can also calculate the circumference using the diameter if you have that measurement: Diameter Measurement: If needed, measure the diameter of the cylinder by placing the measuring tape across the center of the cylinder. Add Extra: Consider adding a few centimeters to your measurements for overlap or adjustments, especially if the jacket will be wrapped tightly. Note Fittings: If there are any valves, flanges, or other fittings, make sure to note their locations and sizes for proper cutouts in the lagging jacket.
