Sowing Information

Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or one seed per 75mm (3") pot in a greenhouse at approximately 20-25°C (69-78°F) using a good quality compost. Cover seeds with 19mm (¾") compost. Germination 7-10 days. Grow on carefully, planting out when frost risk has passed, 60cm (24") between plants. Can also be sown direct outside, at a depth of 25mm (1"), thinning to strongest seedling. Grows best in rich, moist soil in a sunny position. Water and feed regularly. Sowing ? Cropping: 10-12 weeks.
