A mixture of three very different tasting and looking mangetout peas: Shiraz, Golden Sweet and Oregon sugar pod. Shiraz has purple pods with a floury chestnut flavour and pretty blue bicolour flowers, Golden Sweet has golden yellow super sweet pods with gorgeous mauve flowers, Oregon Sugar Pod has long fleshy green pods with a grassy flavour and delicate white flowers.

Growing Information
W = Wrinkled seed. Sow in succession March-June. Allow 60-120cm (2-4') between rows. (12-14 weeks maturity.) General sowing and cultural instructions are given on packet.
Sowing Information
Sow thinly direct into soil prepared by digging and raking at a depth of 50mm (2") in flat drills 15cm (6") wide in two rows with seed approx. 5cm (2") Apart. Germination can take up to 10 days. Allow 90cm (36") between further rows. Support plants with twiggy sticks or pea netting. Grows best in sunny position in well cultivated soil containing plenty of well-rotted manure or compost. Plants are heavy cropping if picked regularly. Pick small before peas bulge through the pods. Water well during dry weather to aid flower setting and pea formation.
