Sow February-April under glass 18-21°C (65-70°F) for greenhouse culture.
Sowing Information
Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx.18-21°C (65-70°F) using a good quality compost. Cover the seeds with 6mm (1?4") sieved compost. Germination 10-21 days. Transplant seedlings singly into 75mm (3") pots. Finally transplant into large pots, grow bags or greenhouse border allowing 45cm (18") between plants.
In warmer districts they may be transplanted outdoors after frost risk has passed.
Support plants with canes and string as fruit develops. Feed regularly with a proprietary fertiliser.
