Surface Preparation:

• Ensure the surface is clean, smooth, dry, and free from wax, dust, or any contaminants.

• Fill any cracks or nail holes with Rustins Wood Filler.

• Do not apply knotting or sanding sealer as these may interfere with adhesion.

• Bare wood can be dyed before varnishing with Rustins Wood Dye for a deeper finish.

Application Instructions:

• Stir the varnish thoroughly before use.

• Apply liberally and evenly with a synthetic brush or varnish roller, finishing in the direction of the grain.

• For concrete or stone surfaces, dilute the first coat 1:1 with water.

• Apply 2-3 coats for the best result, allowing 2 hours drying time between coats.

• Lightly sand between coats for a smooth finish.
