Can be sown in September for flowers April-June the following year. Flowers in dense domed heads on long wiry stems. Simple, very attractive border plants and good for cutting. Flowers July-September. HA - Hardy annual. Height 90cm (3').

Growing Information

Sow thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm soil where the plants are to flower at a depth of 13mm (½") raking in lightly. Germination takes 14-21 days. Choose a sunny position. Thin seedlings when large enough to handle with a final spacing of 30cm (12") between plants. Alternatively sow direct at a depth of 13mm (½") during September to stand the winter for flowering late spring the following year.
