- This quality Personal Alarm is fitted with a high density strobe bulb that produces a pulsing light when the 140dB Alarm is activated.
- This strobe bulb Personal Security Alarm has the added advantage of a torch when the side button is pressed.
- The SureGuard Torch Alarm is fitted with a spring mounted belt clip for ease of attaching the alarm to either a belt, trouser top or a skirt.
- Just press the top of the belt clip on the reverse of the alarm for the clip to move into the open position.
- When the alarm is in place, it is held firmly by the spring mounted clip.
- This alarm is supplied with a Door/ Window mounting bracket for the added use as a door or window alarm via the accessory clip (optional extra).
- To use the accessrory remove the pull cord pin from the socket on top of the alarm and insert the jack plug the same way as the pull pin was positioned.
- When the contacts from the door/ window accessory are open the alarm sounds.
- These contacts are placed between either a door and the door jam/window and the frame.
- When the door/window is opened the contacts open causing the 140dB alarm to sound and activating the light to flash.
- The alarm is fitted with an attachment slot for a key ring.
- When in place this enables the alarm to be attached to the outside of a handbag or case.
- To use the alarm in this way, attach the key ring to the bottom of the alarm and then attach this to your handbag strap.
- Now attach the pull cord's G clip to you trouser/skirt belt loop.
- When the handbag/case is snatched, the pull cord pin is automatically removed causing the 130dB alarm to sound and strobe light to flash.
- As the alarm is attached to the article being stolen, it is likely to deter the thief from continuing.
