Suttons Seeds Pepper Sweet Seeds - Corno di toro rosso

Tasty, tapering red peppers up to 20cm (8") long, which can be harvested either green or red. They have a sweet, crisp, full-bodied flavour that makes them popular among chefs - fresh in salads, fried, stuffed or just grilled on the BBQ. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner.

Sowing Information

Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 18-21 ° (65-70 °F) using a good quality compost. Cover the seeds with 6mm (1?4") sieved compost. Germination 10-21 days. Transplant the seedlings singly into 75mm (3") pots. Finally transplant into larger pots, grow bags or greenhouse border allowing 50cm (20") between plants. Feed regularly with a proprietary fertiliser. Support plants with canes as fruits develop.
