What size do I need?

• Mortice locks are sized by the depth of the lock and the rectangular hole - the 'mortice' - into which the lock fits
• If you are replacing an existing mortice lock, you can find out what size you need without removing your old lock

Measuring up

• Measure from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole
• Size 1: If the measurement is 45mm, you need a 64mm (2.5") mortice lock. Suitable for use in glass panel & solid wooden doors.
• Size 2: If the measurement is 57mm, you need a 76mm (3") mortice lock. Suitable for use in solid wooden doors only.
